Teen Walk
Hey Teens!
Its time to ‘Get Your Walk On’
with….
“Teen Walk’
Finally there’s a workout that JUST FOR YOU! That’s right, this
isn’t any ordinary workout you see everyday because its make FOR TEENS
ONLY! Teen Walk is a brand new workout DVD created by Walk At Home,
Inc. - Leslie Sansone. Teen Walk features a fun and youthful cast that
will inspire and motivate you to ‘Get Your Walk On!
With all the buzz around what being in shape looks like, we often
forget that being in shape does not mean we need to look a certain way.
The shape you are isn't the same thing as the shape you are in. It’s
hard not to compare ourselves to celebrity bodies and wonder why our
bodies do not look the same. Realize that being in shape isn't about
fitting into an itsy-bitsy bikini, skimping on meals, or winning the
race. You should strive to be in shape because it is good for your
health. It becomes unhealthy when you exercise to look like someone
else. Sure, it can become difficult to ignore all the flashy
photographs of celebrities in their designer clothing, but being shape
isn't only about looking good. Being in shape is being fit and happy
with the shape you have.
Teen Walk is a great way to incorporate all components of physical
fitness-done in the comfort of your living room! The workout includes a
2 mile walk; your cardio component, a firming section that uses a
firming band; this is your muscle strength and endurance component, and
a stretching segment; which will improve your flexibility. Leslie’s
motto, “Staying fit shouldn’t be intimidating or expensive,” is a great
reason to try Teen Walk. Although participating in sports is a great
way to stay in shape, it can be intimating and/or expensive for a lot
of people. Teen Walk takes out the intimidation, leaving a lot of room
for effectiveness! Invite your friends over for a Teen Walk fitness
party and workout together- what a great way to support one another!
Along with the workout, a brand new website, www.teenswalk.com, will
be your free online fitness tool. You have the chance to share your
success stories, learn more about the Teen Walk cast, read teen related
articles, sample free on-line workout videos and much more!

Previous Teen Debate
The Perception Is
1.Teens are unable to talk to their parents. Agree

are unable to relate. One teen said that parents should start young
building a bond of communication with their children.
(the perception is)
2.Teens do no have any goals after High School. Disagree
Teens said most teenagers do have goals, however they do not know how to implement them.
(the perception is)
3.Teens need to be treated different then when their parents were teenagers. Agree
Teens believe since times are not the same they should not be treated the same as when their parents were teens.
(the perception is)
4. Teens have no pride in their appearance. Agree
Teens say that most teenagers do not have pride in their
appearance. Teens stated that those whom do, receive a higher level of
respect from their peers. One teen stated that adults work hard to
bring their children out of certain environments but some teens carry
that mentality with them.
(the perception is)
5. Teens do not have any positive role models. Disagree
Teens said they do have positive roles models, such as parents,
pastors, and even friends. Teens felt that those whom do not, do not
choose to. It was also said that teens sometimes choose negative role
models over positive ones, but their is indeed positive role models all
around them. One teen wanted to know what if a teen is to down or feels
they cannot turn to anyone. A parent responded and stated that she was
a foster child with no one to turn to, she was that teen and found her
strength in God and encouraged them to do the same.
(the perception is)
6. Teens feel school is a waste of time. Agree
Teens felt that school is a waste of time because courses learned are
things they will not use in the real world. Parents informed the teens
that everything comes full circle and what you are learning may not be
for them to use but to give the information to someone else. Parents
also made them aware of being well rounded and each course that is
learned is to give them brief knowledge for future endeavors.
